Nexus Robot introduces the 100mm Right Mecanum Wheel. This wheel is supposed to work together with other 3 Mecanum wheels (1 right, 2 left). Its rollers are mounted with ball bearings, making it roll much fluently. The Mecanum wheel is designed for a wheel which can move in any direction. The angled peripheral rollers translate a portion of the force in the rotational direction of the wheel to a force normal to the wheel direction. Depending on each individual wheel direction and speed, the resulting combination of all these forces produce a total force vector in any desired direction.
Our team used these wheels on our FTC robot for Cascade Effect. We replaced some other Mecanum Wheels. The robot weighs about 65 pounds, and the ball bearings on the rollers on these wheels made a huge difference. With the other wheels the robot would barely move sideways. We measured motor current draw with old wheels and new, and these took 50% of the current. The robot is much faster and more maneuverable. We mounted the wheels using the 8mm hubs with the 'top hat' end inside the wheel. The hubs are just too big to fit into the wheel, so we had to turn the hubs down slightly to make them fit. Once we did that it was smooth.

2 of the rollers do not roll freely
It looks like the metal claw holding them is deformed thereby tilting the rollers into each other.
