Description

  • Tri-Axis accelerometer with a programmable full scale range of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g and ±16g
  • Combines a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer
  • I2C Digital-output of 6 or 9-axis Motion Fusion data in rotation matrix
  • Working Voltage: 3V - 5V

The 6 DOF Gyro, Accelerometer IMU - MPU6050 combine a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer on the same silicon die together with an onboard Digital Motion Processor (DMP) capable of processing complex 9-axis Motion Fusion algorithms. The integrated 9-axis Motion Fusion algorithms access external magnetometers or other sensors through an auxiliary master I2C bus, allowing the devices to gather a full set of sensor data without intervention from the system processor.

  • Working Voltage: 3 V - 5 V
  • I2C Digital output of 6 or 9-axis Motion Fusion data in rotation matrix, quaternion, Euler Angle, or raw data format
  • Tri-Axis accelerometer with a programmable full-scale range of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g and ±16g

Fine performance at great price

Works just as it should and is 5V tolerant plus has a very handy power LED indicator (a much more expensive version I bought elsewhere is 3.3v only). It does not have all the MPU6050 function pins broken out: it lacks INT, SYNC, etc. But if you don't need those (and you probably don't) then it can't be beat.

Well worth the cost!!!

This sensor was very useful for helping me appropriately navigate my robot in a project I was working on. Thanks to the onboard MPU I was able to get the sensor to act as a compass/magnetometer and provide information on the robots orientation, but without having to worry about the motors causing the sensor to malfunction and produce false outputs. Like other reviewers have said, this sensor is well worth the $10 dollars it cost!

Cutting-edge IMU at 1/3 the price!

I paid $40 for my first MPU 6050 from another vendor. Then I was lucky enough to find this little gem! Advantages: 1) smaller 2) has an LED so you know it's powered 3) costs only ten bucks! 4) pin headers included

Good product

Nice product! Powerful IMU

Perfect for the job

Comes with unsoldered pins header. Possibility to link a magnometer directly to it but kind of pointless. Power led to let you know it works.
