65 x 22 Gauge Assorted Jumper Wires

The Electronic Engineering Technology college students prefer these flex wires to the standard precut jumper wires for their breadboard projects. However, the flex wires do make for a messier board, i.e. harder to trace connections, and sometimes do not make good consistent contact on well-used boards.

These are better quality than some other jumper wires that I've purchased in the same price range, but there is a good fraction that have a typical problem with cheap jumpers. This problem being the poor quality cut of the solid wire ends. The solution is to go through every jumper and carefully recut the ends with a good quality pair of cutters. I use an Ideal Data T-Cutter, but you could use any type of cutter that gives you the desired finish. The important thing is that the resulting finish should not scratch off the finish of the metal parts in the solderless breadboard which result in surface corrosion and unreliable connections. It's a real pain when you have to troubleshoot unreliable connections in a prototype circuit.
