The Ai-Thinker WiFi + Ble5.0 + Radar Module Rd-01 is equipped with WiFi and BLE capabilities, and the radar component utilizes the S3KM111L chip from Sidian Micro. The S3KM111L chip is an integrated, monolithic single-wave sensor SoC that operates on FMCW radar technology.
The module operates in the 24 GHz k band, with a modulation bandwidth of up to 1 GHz per frequency. The FMCW continuous wave is utilized to detect targets within a predetermined space. When combined with radar signal processing and a precise human body sensing algorithm, it can achieve high-sensitivity human presence state sensing. This allows for the recognition of human bodies, both in motion and in a static state.
The WiFi and BLE capabilities are powered by the BL602 chip, which serves as the core processor. This chip supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n and BLE 5.0. The BL602 chip is equipped with a low-power 32-bit RISC CPU, 276KB of RAM, and a variety of peripheral interfaces, including SPI, UART, I2C, PWM, ADC, and GPIO.
The Rd-01 module is capable of sensing the presence of a moving or twitching human body within its range and can transmit the detection results in real-time via WiFi and BLE. It offers visual configuration tools for easy adjustment of induction distance range, induction sensitivity of different sections, and unmanned delay time. Additionally, it supports WiFi and BLE wireless configuration of radar parameters, significantly enhancing the efficiency of construction, operation, and maintenance.
