The AndyMark 4in. Performance Wheel w/ Nub Bore is a robust and durable wheel crafted from solid 6061 aluminum, renowned for its resilience in competitive robotics. This wheel has been a staple in the FIRST Robotics Competition and is now adapted for the FIRST Tech Challenge, offering a cost-effective solution through its custom extrusion design. It is engineered to withstand the rigorous demands of both FRC and FTC robots.
This wheel is specifically designed to be driven by an AndyMark Nub and a 6 mm D shaft, utilizing the Nub Bore. It is compatible with various motion hardware that employs a 1.875-inch 6-hole bolt circle, a common feature in AndyMark and other competitive robotics products. The wheel's versatility is further enhanced by its compatibility with additional mounting options, such as the 250 Sprocket and Pulley Spacer for rear mounting and the 550 Sprocket Spacer for front mounting.
While the wheel does not include tread material, this can be purchased separately to customize its performance according to specific applications. The tread is attached using a zip-tie method, which has been slightly modified from previous versions to improve ease of use. A comprehensive guide on tread attachment is forthcoming.
