The AndyMark AM14U5 - 6 Wheel Drop Center Robot Drive Base w/ Gear Ratio 7.31:1 - 2024 FIRST Kit of Parts Chassis is an advanced drive platform ideal for both prototyping and integrating into final robotic designs. This versatile chassis offers three main configurations: Long, Square, and Wide, providing a customizable solution for various applications. The drop center wheel design enhances turning capabilities while ensuring stability. As the fifth major upgrade in the AM14U series, this chassis reflects continuous improvements based on user feedback since its inception in 2014. The kit includes essential components such as HiGrip Wheels, Toughbox Mini Gearboxes, and Gates HTD Belts, though assembly and aluminum cutting are required. It is compatible with multiple gear ratios and offers numerous wheel and build configuration options. While encoders are not included, the chassis supports optional encoder integration with additional hardware. This kit is designed for use with a power and control system, requiring a minimum of two CIM motors, with four recommended for optimal performance.
