The AndyMark AM14U5 Chassis Kit w/ No Gearbox represents the latest advancement in the AM14U family of drive chassis, incorporating insights gained over five years of development and a decade of experience in providing drive chassis for the FIRST Robotics Competition Kit of Parts. This product is delivered as an unassembled kit, featuring HiGrip Wheels and Gates HTD Belts. It is essential for users participating in the FIRST Robotics Competition to adhere to robot perimeter rules and adjust the chassis size accordingly.

This chassis kit does not include CIM motors, bumper hardware, or gearboxes. It is designed with versatility in mind, allowing for numerous configurations in terms of perimeter, wheel, and gearbox setups. The kit includes plates that enable the construction of a large square configuration, which can be modified to create long or wide versions to meet specific size constraints. Detailed assembly instructions and video guides are available to assist in the customization process.

The chassis requires a minimum of two CIM style motors, with four recommended for competitive scenarios involving heavy robots or high traction situations. Additionally, a power and control system, such as the FRC roboRIO Robot Control Kit or the Cheap & Dirty Electronics for two motors, is necessary. A battery and charger are also required to complete the setup.

Note: Ensure compliance with safety guidelines during assembly and operation to prevent injury or damage.
