The AndyMark EVO Shifter Short Keyed Shaft, StageA 2 - 10.86:1 Ratio, StageB 2 - 04.77:1 Ratio represents a significant advancement in shifting transmission gearboxes. This two-speed, shift-on-the-fly gearbox incorporates an improved 4-tooth dog shifting method, allowing for seamless transitions between gears. It is compatible with two CIM or NEO motors and can be configured with either two or three interior stages, offering flexibility in performance. The gearbox is shipped assembled, though motors are not installed.

This model features several enhancements over previous iterations, including a robust 1/8" diameter shoulder screw and a dog gear made from AMPCO® 18 Bronze, which provides added lubricity for smoother shifting. The gearbox allows users to independently select high and low ratios, providing greater customization options. Additionally, it includes a super-strong shift block assembly with a larger bearing and threaded steel housing, contributing to its durability.

The EVO Shifter employs a pneumatic shift method, utilizing a spring-extend pneumatic cylinder for efficient gear changes even under varying conditions such as acceleration or deceleration. The gearbox is designed with aggressive weight reduction features, ensuring a lightweight yet sturdy construction. It also offers more encoder options, including the US Digital E4T encoder, enhancing its adaptability for various applications.

The gearbox's design facilitates easy assembly and disassembly, with all cluster gears featuring identical characteristics on both sides, eliminating concerns about correct gear orientation. It can be mounted to an AM14U family chassis or a 2"x1" box tube frame using existing mounting plate holes. The gearbox requires proper greasing for optimal operation and longevity, with a recommended break-in period before applying grease to the spur gears.

Note: Ensure proper handling and installation of pinion gears, particularly when using a NEO motor, as a 3-ton arbor press is required for installation due to the interference fit.
