The Atlas Scientific 8:1 Serial Port Expander is engineered to assist embedded systems engineers in augmenting the number of UART serial ports available to a microcontroller. This device facilitates the expansion of a single serial port into eight serial ports, making it compatible with devices such as Arduino Uno and Raspberry Pi.
