The Binder 77 Plug (6-8mm) is a standard connector designed for tether connections above water, featuring 8 pins and IP67 splashproof protection when mated. It is compact and pre-installed on all Fathom tethers since August 2018, but can also retrofit older tethers. The Binder 77 bulkhead can be mounted in a spare hole on the FXTI for custom connections, requiring a corresponding Binder 77 Plug for use. The connector supports a current rating of 2A per pin and is rated for 175V impulse, with gold-plated pins for durability.
Note: Moderate soldering skills are required for installation.
