terrible, terrible, terrilble

I have bought a lot of 1.75mm filament from Robotshop and for most of it there has been no problems but the last few spools of black PLA have been terrible and unusable. This plastic will not print and the infill is bumping and saggy. I am using a Makergear M2 and I have tried reducing temperature, changing speed, fan/no-fan but nothing works. I switched to another color and no problems but this black PLA is awful!

This filament printed really well for me. I'm new to 3D printing and was happy that in the first test prints I've done with the filament I haven't heard a crackle or pop. it was vacuum packed with desiccant and got to me dry. I ran stock slicer and machine PLA settings and didn't need to learn to "dial in" any settings... I have the feeling that I won't really appreciate this filament until I have a bad experience.

Excellent quality PLA filament. This is my second time buying from RobotShop and I am very pleased with the service and the fast delivery. Plus you get free shipping for orders over 75$. This PLA filament has some flexibility compared to other cheap quality filaments I've used before. It flows well with no odors and prints great between 195 to 210C.

Good printability, poor spool

I've printed over 200 meters filament off of this spool, all my items have turned out well. I'm using a Printrbot Simple, with head set to 180 degrees C with no odour, and excellent adhesion of all layers. The only trouble I have had is the spool itself needed some large injection marks cleaned up off the inside radius in order to get it to turn smoothly on my spool holder.
