The BlueRobotics 300mm Watertight Aluminum Enclosure Tube (3-Inch) is made from anodized 6061-T6 aluminum. This series of tubes represents a significant improvement over the previous generation of watertight enclosure tubes. The aluminum tube option features precision-machined O-ring interfaces at each end, ensuring a consistent and reliable fit with the sealing flange. The smooth surface finish of the tube guarantees an optimal seal between the O-ring flange and the tube.
The tube ends are also machined to include a gland for a locking cord and a slot for cord insertion. This locking feature is designed to maintain the flange in a consistent orientation with the tube, preventing any potential damage to the contents of the enclosure due to rotation of the flange.
The slot for cord insertion also serves as an anti-rotation feature, mating with a feature on the flange.
