The BlueRobotics 50 mm / 2-inch O-Ring Flange seal to a tube on one end and to an end cap on the other, creating a high-pressure watertight interface when used with flat or dome end caps. These second-generation flanges are constructed from anodized aluminum and feature dual radial O-rings and a face seal O-ring for dependable high-pressure sealing. Additionally, they include a locking cord gland and an anti-rotation feature, along with PTFE locking cord and handles to secure the flange to the tube.
These flanges are specifically designed to be compatible with BlueRobotics watertight enclosure tubes, which have precision-machined features at each end to interface seamlessly with the flange. Four internal mounting holes facilitate the secure attachment of internal components, a feature utilized in the BlueROV2 to hold the electronics tray.
