The BlueRobotics BarXT Submersion Depth/Pressure Sensor (Bar10XT 0-10 Bar, ~100m) is engineered for underwater applications requiring prolonged submersion without maintenance. This sensor is particularly suitable for use in remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), and other subsea instruments where long-term reliability is crucial.

Constructed from 316 stainless steel with a black oxide coating, the sensor is designed to withstand harsh underwater environments. It operates within a pressure range of 0 to 10 bar, allowing for submersion to depths of approximately 100 meters. The sensor communicates via the I²C protocol and is compatible with various flight controllers, supported by ArduSub, Arduino, and Python libraries.

The sensor is powered by a 3 V logic with a maximum power input of 5 V, ensuring efficient energy consumption. It maintains temperature accuracy within ±2 °C, and its electrical specifications include a supply voltage range of 2.5 V and I2C logic voltage between 1.8 and 3.6 V. The sensor's performance is reliable across a temperature range from -10 to 80°C, with a maximum mechanical pressure capacity of up to 40 bar.
