The Brushless Servo Motor Upgrade Kit for AxiDraw (Multi-plug no mount) significantly enhances the performance and reliability of AxiDraw V3 and AxiDraw SE family machines. This kit replaces the standard pen-lift motor with a robust and swift brushless servo motor, capable of lifting and lowering the pen up to 100% faster. This upgrade reduces the need for frequent motor replacements and includes a spring kit, allowing the use of traditional ballpoint pens and other writing implements that require substantial pressure.
The upgrade kit features a brushless servo motor equipped with a custom aluminum lift arm, which includes a rolling wheel for smoother operation. Additionally, it comes with an upgraded power supply and a power supply adapter, which introduces a new motor power switch and enhances cable management. The upgraded pen-lift stage can be utilized with or without the spring kit, depending on the type of pen in use.
