Good Cutters

I machine a lot of aluminium on my Shapeko CNC. I have used the standard carbide cutters which have given me good results. I tried these Zrn coated cutters and they give a superior finish to the aluminium. They maybe a little more expensive, but I think they are well worth it.

Pretty good for aluminium 6061T6

Using on my Shapeoko XXL to make plastic injection molds. Happy with the results so far.

Good

Utilisé pour couper de l'aluminium, je ne suis pas déçu! Avec mon oeil d'amateur, je peux constater que le couteau enduit de Zrn donne de meilleurs résultats.

Thumbs Up

Currently using this to cut more detailed MDF cutouts (with tight areas/thin lines which I am afraid the 1/4" won't be able to do). Sanding is definitely required around all of the edges, but the bit is currently doing its job.
