The Cube Orange+ is the flagship autopilot module in CubePilot's Cube family, built for unmanned aerial vehicles and other autonomous platforms that need dependable flight control. It carries the entire autopilot workload, reading its onboard inertial and pressure sensors, estimating vehicle attitude and position, then driving control outputs in a tightly closed loop. Because the sensor groups are mounted on isolating hardware and held at a regulated temperature, the module keeps its state estimate stable on airframes that vibrate heavily or operate across a wide thermal range. Operators fly it on multirotors, fixed wing aircraft and VTOL designs, and also run it on ground rovers and marine craft. Commercial integrators and research groups reach for it where a flight controller has to behave predictably over long deployment cycles.

Sensing on this platform rests on redundancy rather than a single measurement chain, so the autopilot cross references several independent readings before it commits to an estimate. Should one source drift or fail outright, the firmware falls back on the remaining channels and keeps flying instead of losing control authority. Operator interaction runs through a ground control station over a telemetry link, where missions get planned, parameters tuned and live flight data reviewed. Deployment stays flexible because the module carries no power management or connectors of its own and instead plugs into a carrier board, letting builders pair it with an off the shelf carrier or design their own against the published interface.
