The DFRobot Solar Power Manager w/ Panel (9V) is an advanced solution designed for IoT and renewable energy projects, offering a high-efficiency embedded solar power management module. This comprehensive module features Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) to optimize the efficiency of the solar panel. It functions not only as a solar charger but also provides up to 2A charging current to a 3.7V Li battery using an AC adapter (up to 30V) or a USB charger.
Additionally, it includes three individually controllable DC converters with various output voltages, catering to diverse solar power projects and low-power applications. The module incorporates multiple protection mechanisms, including Li-battery protection, reverse connection protection for the battery and solar panel, as well as safeguards against output over temperature, over current, and short circuits, thereby enhancing the systems stability and safety.
