Features independent local oscillators
The Digilent CBX 1200-6000 USRP N210 Daughterboard is a sophisticated full-duplex, wideband transceiver designed to cover a frequency range from 1.2 GHz to 6 GHz, offering an instantaneous bandwidth of 40 MHz. This versatile device is suitable for a broad spectrum of applications, including WiFi research, cellular base stations, cognitive radio research, and RADAR systems. It features independent local oscillators for the receive and transmit chains, enabling multi-frequency operation and enhancing its adaptability for various research and development projects.
The daughterboard is engineered to work seamlessly with MIMO-capable USRP models such as the USRP N200 or USRP N210, allowing for coherent operation. It includes two quadrature frontends, one for transmission and one for reception, and defaults to direct conversion. Additionally, it can be configured to operate in low IF mode through specific tuning requests, providing flexibility in its application.
The device supports full-duplex operation on different transmit and receive frequencies, which is facilitated by its independent receive and transmit local oscillators and synthesizers. This feature is particularly beneficial for applications requiring simultaneous transmission and reception at different frequencies. Furthermore, the daughterboard can be set to use Integer-N tuning to improve spur performance, enhancing the quality and reliability of the signal processing.
Note: Ensure proper handling and installation to avoid damage to the device and maintain optimal performance.
