Features a rotating impeller, an external casing and sensor, and a hall-effect sensor
Activates the magnetic core to trigger switch action speed
The hall-effect sensor outputs the corresponding pulse signals
Detects flow in water dispenser or coffee machine
The Elecrow 1-In Water Flow Sensor consists of the magnetic core, rotating impeller, external casing and sensor, and a hall-effect sensor. When water flows through the rotor, rotor rolls, it activates the magnetic core to trigger switch action speed changes with a different rate of flow.
The hall-effect sensor outputs the corresponding pulse signals, users can get the flow speed via detecting the pulse. It is suitable to detect flow in water dispenser or coffee machine.
Performs as indicated. You will need to ground-truth the hall sensor counts to verify the output acurately reflects the flow through the sensor. While the wires enter the sensor through a resin sealed passage, they should be re-enforced so as not to break if moved about too frequently. The connection end is not waterproof, so some engineering ingenuity is required (possilby involving a 3D printer and more potting resin).
