The Elecrow Arduino Automatic Smart Plant Watering Kit 2.1 (EU) is a sophisticated system designed to automate the process of watering plants. This kit is built around the Arduino Leonardo, which is integrated into the mainboard. It features a Real-Time Clock (RTC) for scheduling watering times and a 0.96-inch OLED display that provides real-time information about the time and soil moisture levels.
The kit is equipped with a pump, capacitive soil moisture sensors, a water switch that can distribute water to a maximum of four plants, and pipes to facilitate water flow. The soil moisture sensor, made from corrosion-resistant material, ensures durability and longevity. This Smart Watering Kit is designed to simplify the creation of personalized smart plant monitoring systems, offering ease of use and limitless customization options.
Upon powering the board, after the Arduino program has been uploaded, the board utilizes the four soil moisture sensors to assess the moisture level in the plant's soil. Depending on the need, the board sends a command to the switch to open a specific channel for a plant that requires watering. Subsequently, the board commands the pump to draw water into the switch, which then distributes the appropriate amount of water to the plants. Once the watering process is complete, the pump and the switch are turned off, and the system continues to monitor the plants' water needs.
