The tether includes water-blocking fibers to prevent leaks and is slimmer than most comparable ROV tethers. It incorporates Kevlar strands for strength and Dacron fibers for space filling, both treated with water-blocking compounds. The high-visibility yellow jacket resists abrasion and ensures neutral buoyancy, providing design flexibility and versatility.
