The FingerTech Silver Spark 16mm Gearmotor 11:1 is engineered for robust performance in demanding applications. It features a 16mm diameter with a larger gear pitch, reducing the risk of gear stripping in heavier or larger setups. The motor is equipped with an all-metal spur gearhead, seamlessly integrated with a Mabuchi FK-050 motor, ensuring durability and reliability.
This gearmotor is designed with an extra-long 3mm shaft, allowing for direct wheel mounting and the option to use a bearing block for additional support. It shares the same 11mm face mount pattern as the Gold Spark motors, facilitating easy integration into existing systems. The gearmotor offers a variety of gear ratios, providing flexibility in achieving the desired balance of speed and torque.
The Silver Spark gearmotor is ideal for robotics applications, simplifying the process of getting a robot operational. It can be easily paired with compatible wheels and hubs, and controlled via radio with the addition of tinyESCs. For secure mounting, 2-56 screws and custom motor mounts are recommended.
Note: For strenuous conditions, such as robot combat, it is advised to check the alignment of the motor vent hole with the gearbox pin and adjust if necessary. Use Loctite on the screws to prevent separation during operation.
