The ball bearing supported output shaft and sturdy gear trains are great for all your robotic projects.
So far a smooth running servo, definitely a better option than the plastic gear version.

Excellent product, Great value.
I can't speak to the longevity of this servo as it's only been in service for a couple of weeks. My application uses this servo 2 plus times pretty much every day to open the spring-loaded choke on a carburetor. This unit replaced a less capable 82 MG that lasted for 3 years, despite being used at -20c to -25c before burning up. It should be noted that those temperatures are below the specified lower limit of operation. If I remember correctly the 85MG has the same temperature range limits but I anticipate this servo will handle the cold a little easier due to it's higher torque. Unfortunately, I can't make the winter warmer so it looks like I'll be buying more of these in the future.
