The LIGPOWER V10 KV160 12S Brushless Drone Motor is engineered for VTOL drone propulsion systems, making it suitable for multirotor, fixed-wing, and VTOL drones. This motor is characterized by a KV value of KV160, ensuring efficient performance for various drone applications. It is designed to withstand high temperatures, featuring a magnet temperature resistance grade of Class C 150℃ and enameled wires with a temperature resistance grade of Class C 220℃. The motor's construction includes anti-rust treatment and high temperature-resisting coatings, enhancing its durability and longevity.
The motor's dimensions are compact, with a size of 106.6 mm in diameter and 48 mm in height, and it incorporates a shaft diameter of 15 mm. It is built to maintain a rotor dynamic balance standard of ≤5mg, utilizing imported 6202ZZ bearings for smooth operation. The motor is rated IP35, indicating its resistance to dust and water ingress, and is optimized for use with a 12S battery, operating within a voltage range of 42-52V.
Performance-wise, the motor has an idle current of 4.4A at 18V and can handle a peak current of 155A for up to 180 seconds, delivering a maximum power output of 7000W within the same duration. The motor's internal resistance is measured at 12 mΩ, and it weighs 865g, with a total package weight of 1230g. For optimal performance, it is recommended to pair this motor with a FLAME 200A 14S ESC and a G30*10.5 propeller.
