Litter-Robot 2 Motor Assembly

We needed a replacement motor for our litter robot, and Robotshop sells these. Not only does it work like a charm, the instructions on how to replace it that came with it were very good. Anyone with moderate technical skills can do the replacement following the instructions.

As with most things we buy in today's world, there is always a part that is basically planned obsolesce. My motor worked for two cats for 4 years. Once it stops, you have to replace it. I figure I'll get another 4 years out of it. Replacement is pretty simple provided you have a basic toolkit.

After two years with my Litter Robot II's service, the motor died out on me. While contemplating whether or not to order direct from the company, I decided to chance it with the Robot Shop, since they were cheaper and provided a 6-month warranty. I'm glad I did, and my unit is working like new again. Nothing lasts forever, and neither will this motor. I'm happy to know I have an outlet to purchase parts that are cost effective and reliable. I'll be ordering from this company again in the future, I'm sure.
