It could be better if you could download the CAD model ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for your feedback. we do not have Computer-Aided Designs for all products since we distribute moste of them and provide the documentation provided by the manufacturer. Granted, I might be using these on the simpler side, but as a pressure-sensitive input this was very easy to set up, works great with a Picaxe micro controller and works well. So far it seems quite sturdy, but I have only been playing with it for a week. In short, it works as advertised, so grab one and play around with it.
The sensor worked fine but disintegrated very quickly upon flexing the wires. Need to order more to replace.
Works well. Calibrated it to as little as 150-grams-force and up to 5-kg-force (kitchen scale does not go over 5-kg). One of my sensors calibrated to the following formula ("gram-force" = "g-f"): force [g-f] = 41483 [g-f/Ohm] * resistance [Ohm] ^ -1.369
Using it on my MAH-3 Hexapod bot. The bot weighs enough that it triggers all 6 sensors. On my first set I missed the instructions that say to only peal off the CLEAR backing. Do not peal off the black backing, its supposed to be there!
