The M5Stack PowerHub is a sophisticated programmable controller designed for multi-channel power management. It incorporates the ESP32-S3-WROOM-1U-N16R8 main control module, which features a dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor capable of operating at speeds up to 240MHz. This module supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity and is equipped with 16MB of Flash memory and 8MB of PSRAM. The device also includes a built-in STM32G031G8U6 coprocessor and multiple INA226 voltage/current detection ICs, which together facilitate precise power state management across various expansion interfaces. This enables accurate control of power consumption and provides low-power wake-up functionality for the entire device.
The PowerHub is equipped with a USB Type-C port for program downloads and USB OTG functions. It features an internal USB interface switch that allows the bottom USB port to be redirected to either the front USB Type-A or USB Type-C interface, thereby enhancing the expansion capabilities for USB peripherals. The device supports multiple power supply modes, including DC power, 2S battery power, and PWR485/PWR CAN input power. It is also equipped with 2x HY2.0-4P Grove ports, RS485, and CAN communication interfaces, making it suitable for connections to various sensors and industrial control devices.
Ideal for applications in industrial automation control and smart home environments, the M5Stack PowerHub offers developers a stable and reliable IoT solution. It is designed to facilitate human-machine interaction through multi-channel status indicator lights and physical buttons, and it supports multiple mounting methods for versatile installation options.
