The QR Code Scanner Unit (STM32F030) is a sophisticated code scanning unit that incorporates a CMOS QR code capture engine with a resolution of 640x480, alongside a bus conversion microcontroller unit. This device is equipped with a toggle switch on the side, enabling the user to select between I2C and UART communication interfaces with ease.
This module is adept at decoding three prevalent QR code types and eight varieties of one-dimensional barcodes commonly encountered in the market. Additionally, it is designed with a scan trigger button, an internal buzzer, and supplementary LED lighting to facilitate the scanning process. The buzzer and green LED emit auditory and visual signals respectively, which aid in focusing and targeting during scanning operations.
Configurable through programming, the scanner module can be set to function in either an automatic continuous trigger mode or a manual trigger mode, making it versatile for use in sectors such as logistics, retail, and manufacturing where barcode scanning is an essential activity.
To switch to UART serial communication mode, it is imperative to first power off the device, and then adjust the mode switch to the UART serial position. Subsequently, the TRIG button should be pressed and held for 2 seconds while the device is powered on until the startup process is complete, indicating a successful transition to UART serial communication mode.
