The Marvelmind Industrial Super-Beacon-Plastic 22KHz is engineered for robust performance in outdoor and industrial environments. It features plastic 16mm ultrasonic transducers safeguarded by specialized membranes, ensuring durability and reliability. This beacon is versatile, capable of both receiving and transmitting ultrasound, making it suitable for a variety of applications. It operates exclusively on its native ultrasonic frequency of 22kHz, while also having the capability to receive a broad range of ultrasonic frequencies from 19kHz to 45kHz, or all simultaneously.
The device boasts a high level of ingress protection, rated up to IP56, which provides substantial resistance against dust and water ingress. An external bendable antenna equipped with an SMA connector enhances the radio range, facilitating extended communication capabilities. The beacon does not include an internal battery by default, necessitating the use of an external power bank or power supply with a +5V output for operation.
