The micro:Bit Quick Start Kit (w/o micro:bit) is a comprehensive STEAM education set, meticulously designed to encompass all the necessary components for constructing an initial micro:bit STEM project. This kit, which incorporates elements of sound, light, and motion, serves as an ideal project set for both primary and secondary school students. It provides a hands-on learning experience in coding, microcontroller, LEDs, sensors, and motors.

Included in this kit is a USB micro B cable, enabling immediate engagement with the micro:bit's LEDs, buzzer, microphone, buttons, and onboard sensors. The kit also provides four AA batteries and an AA battery holder with an ON/OFF switch, which proves useful for powering portable projects.

The kit is accompanied by a quick start guide booklet, updated to include content for the micro:bit V2 board. This guide facilitates a smooth initiation into project building. Moreover, the kit offers additional learning resources online in three language options: Malay, Mandarin, and Tamil. The content for these resources was developed by ARUS Academy as part of the "Future Skills for All" initiative, a collaborative project involving Malaysia's Ministry of Education, MDEC, Digi, Telenor, and UNICEF. The module aligns well with the Year 5 Design and Technology subject (RBT) of the Malaysian National Curriculum.

The MakeCode Editor provides a plethora of emoticons and melodies, making the learning experience enjoyable as students simultaneously explore art, music, and coding.

The kit also includes a 3V micro servo with a special extension cable for easy connection using crocodile clips. Beyond the components, the packaging box itself is creatively designed to be incorporated into the project.
