The Orbbec Gemini 336 Camera is an advanced addition to the Gemini 330 series, renowned for its superior depth performance and imaging quality. This model excels in active infrared imaging by effectively filtering out the visible light spectrum, ensuring stable and precise imaging even in challenging lighting environments. It is particularly adept at handling indoor reflective surfaces that generate glare, brightly lit scenes with shadows, and strong outdoor lighting conditions.
The device employs stereo depth technology and operates at a wavelength of 850nm, offering a depth range that extends from 0.10 meters to over 20 meters, with an optimal range between 0.26 and 3 meters. The depth resolution can reach up to 1280x800 at 30 frames per second, while the RGB resolution supports up to 1920x1080 at the same frame rate. The field of view for depth is horizontal 90 degrees and vertical 65 degrees, whereas the RGB field of view is horizontal 86 degrees and vertical 55 degrees.
The Orbbec Gemini 336 is powered by Orbbec's proprietary ASIC processing technology, ensuring high spatial precision with a theoretical maximum depth range of up to 65 meters. It supports an IR-pass depth filter and includes an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) for enhanced data accuracy. Connectivity is facilitated through a USB 3.0 Type-C interface, which also serves as the power input, with an average power consumption of less than 3.0 watts.
Designed for versatile use, the Gemini 336 can operate in temperatures ranging from -10 to 45 ℃ and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments with humidity levels between 5% and 90% (non-condensing). It is compatible with the Orbbec SDK, allowing for the output of point cloud data, depth maps, and both IR and RGB imaging. The device is lightweight at 99 grams and offers flexible installation options with mounting points on the bottom and back.
