The Phidgets RTD Interface enables precise temperature measurement using RTDs, thermistors, and other resistance-based sensors. It connects to a computer via a VINT Hub and measures subtle resistance changes in the sensor element, typically made of pure metal like platinum, to provide accurate temperature readings. The interface allows for the selection of wire numbers and RTD types through software, and it processes the data to output temperature in degrees Celsius.
