The Phidgets Waterproof Cable Gland (4mm-8mm, Bag of 2) facilitates the secure passage of cables into waterproof enclosures while maintaining their integrity against water ingress. It is engineered to be installed on the side of a waterproof project enclosure, ensuring a watertight seal around cables. The installation requires drilling a 15.6mm diameter hole in the enclosure, after which the two halves of the gland are screwed onto either side. The cable is then threaded through, and the cap is twisted to tighten the seal around the cable.
