The Pololu ACS72981LLRATR-100B3 Current Sensor Compact Carrier -100A to +100A, 3.3V is a compact current sensor utilizing Allegro's Hall effect technology. It provides an electrically isolated current path with a low resistance and a high bandwidth of 250 kHz, ensuring rapid response times. This sensor is capable of measuring bidirectional currents ranging from -100 A to +100 A and operates at a nominal voltage of 3 V. It features differential Hall sensing to minimize interference from common-mode fields and includes digital temperature compensation for enhanced accuracy across varying temperatures.
The sensor outputs a ratiometric analog voltage that is proportional to the AC or DC currents it measures. It is designed for easy integration into circuits, compatible with standard solderless breadboards, and can be connected using various methods, including direct soldering or ring terminal connectors. Note: The product is intended for use below 30 V, and exceeding temperature or current limits can cause permanent damage to the sensor.
