The SenseCAP Indicator for Meshtastic & LoRa is a sophisticated 4-inch touchscreen device engineered for seamless integration with Meshtastic® networks. It is powered by dual microcontrollers, the ESP32 and RP2040, which facilitate robust connectivity through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, and LoRa®. This device serves as a versatile IoT development platform, leveraging the extensive open-source ecosystems of ESP32 and Raspberry Pi.
Pre-flashed with Meshtastic firmware, the SenseCAP Indicator is operational immediately upon powering. It functions as a local LoRa® hub, utilizing the Semtech SX1262 LoRa® chip to enhance IoT connectivity. The device is adaptable to various application scenarios, including use as a Meshtastic desktop node, a car node, or a LoRaWAN® single-channel gateway.
The capacitive RGB touchscreen offers a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels, providing a clear and interactive user interface. The device is powered by a 5V DC, 1A power supply and supports external storage via a micro SD card of up to 32GB. It operates within the 862-930MHz frequency range for LoRa and supports 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi at 2.4GHz, along with Bluetooth 5.0 LE.
