The ServoCity 12V Heavy-Duty Linear Actuator (33lb Thrust, 1.7"/sec, 8" Stroke) is engineered for robust performance in demanding applications. It is equipped with a 3 Pole Ferrite motor and operates efficiently within a voltage range of 6V to 12V. This actuator delivers a dynamic thrust of 33 lbs and can handle a static load capacity of up to 500 lbs. It features a metal gear train with a nylon pinion, ensuring durability and reliability. The actuator's no-load speed reaches 1.70 inches per second, while the maximum load speed is 1.37 inches per second. It incorporates a 10KΩ potentiometer feedback mechanism, providing precise control with a feedback density of 1.25KΩ per inch and a potentiometer tolerance of ± 5%. The device is designed to function in temperatures ranging from -26°C to +65°C and has an IP54 rating, indicating protection against dust and splashing water. The duty cycle is set at 25% on and 75% off, optimizing performance and longevity. Note: Ensure proper handling to avoid exceeding the current drain limits, which are 800mA at no-load, 3.8A at max load, and 15A at stall.
