Note that these sensors will only tell you if there is an object withinthe detection range along their lines of sight; they will not tell youhow far away the object is.
We're using these on our high-school robot (FIRST Robotics Competition) and they have been very good so far. It's nice that they have a red LED on the back to indicate when they detect something. Make sensor placement easier.
