This machine provides three directions of travel, with additional flexibility in the positioning of the headstock spindle, allowing for drilling or milling from virtually any angle. The mill is equipped with factory-installed stepper motor mounts, making it ready for the application of stepper motors and computer numeric controls. However, it is important to note that stepper motors, computers, and CNC software are not included and must be installed separately to operate the machine.
The NexGen mill is a desktop-sized machine that delivers the precision and accuracy of a full-sized machine. It includes handwheels for each axis, which can be mounted to the end of the stepper motors for manual control when needed. The machine is compatible with dual-shaft stepper motors, allowing for manual operation through the handwheels.
Note: CNC-ready machines cannot be operated manually unless double-shaft stepper motors are installed.
