The Sherline Individual Milling Collet Blank 3099 is engineered for use with the Morse #1 internal taper, which is standard on Sherline lathes and vertical mills. This design allows for a superior clamping force compared to WW collets, making it ideal for securing miniature end mills, center drills, and Dremel® bits. The collet requires a precise shank size for optimal performance. Its shallow taper angle ensures a secure hold, necessitating the drawbolt to be backed off and tapped to release the collet.
