This design allows each hole to function as a part locating hole when a ¼-inch dowel pin is inserted, or as a clamping hole using the ¼-20 thread. Additionally, the plate includes 16 holes positioned to mount Sherline's rotary table and tilting angle table, enhancing its adaptability for various setups.
The XY Slide with the 18-inch table is a 2-axis machine slide equipped with plain handwheels, offering travel dimensions of 13.38 inches on the X-axis and 4 inches on the Y-axis. This configuration provides a stable and precise platform for engraving tasks, making it an excellent addition to any engraving laser setup. The tooling plate also features a 5/16-inch oiler access hole, allowing for easy maintenance without the need to remove the plate.
