This deluxe mill package is part of the 5400-series, renowned for its popularity and reliability in the milling machine market. It features a robust 12-inch solid aluminum base, providing an additional 2 inches of Y-axis travel, and is equipped with laser-engraved scales on both the table and base for enhanced accuracy.
The mill is powered by a high-torque 90V DC motor with electronic speed control, allowing for a continuously variable speed range from 70 to 2800 RPM. This feature eliminates the need for gear or belt changes, offering seamless operation. The machine's precision is further ensured by its dovetailed slides with adjustable gibs, permanently lubricated spindle bearings, and adjustable preload anti-backlash feed screws.
This tabletop mill is adept at producing high-quality precision parts, capable of cutting materials such as wood, plastic, aluminum, and steel.
