The Sherline Manual 14-Inch 8-Direction Benchtop Mill Package A (Inch) (EU) is a highly versatile milling machine designed to offer extensive functionality for precision machining tasks. This deluxe model allows for movement in eight directions, including the traditional X-, Y-, and Z-axes, as well as additional adjustments that enable the headstock spindle to be positioned for drilling or milling from virtually any angle. The headstock can pivot up to 90 degrees in either direction, and the column bed can rotate side-to-side up to 90 degrees, facilitating angled drilling. Furthermore, a special knuckle design allows the column to pivot front to rear, and the ram design of the column base permits side-to-side pivoting up to 90 degrees. The column cap can be loosened to allow the ram to move in and out with over five inches of travel.
