Tamiya Track and Wheel Set

The tracks go together with no problems. This is the perfect choice to start a tracked robot.

This set is great for making custom tanks, especially in conjunction with the universal plate and gearbox sets. My only complaint is that the tracks have a tendency to be pulled off the wheels when pivoting on carpet. On hard surfaces, though, they're excellent.

These are exactly what I needed. I have bought several of them over the years. They occasionally Break, but I use old sets as spares. Perfect for entry level tanks

I have to be honest and state that I'm a bit disappointed with these, I built an FPV, RC tracked vehicle for my son using the track and wheel set, universal plate set and 4 speed gearbox, I'm a big fan of Tamiya having built and even raced many rc buggies and trucks when I was a kid but these although well made will not run very well on carpet and will shed these tracks when doing sharp turns and especially 360's, works perfect on vinyl and wooden floors but it's simply down to the rubber tracks gripping hard and being very flexible in all directions, I'll be modifying this chassis with plastic lego tracks as our bungalow is mostly carpet, shame Tamiya don't do plastic link tracks like lego but modifying is all part of the fun and robotshops service was spot on.
