The Unipi Patron M267 LTE is a sophisticated programmable logic controller (PLC) and gateway, meticulously engineered for automation, control, regulation, and monitoring tasks. It is particularly well-suited for extensive projects due to its substantial number of digital, relay, and analog inputs and outputs. A distinctive feature of this controller is its LTE capability, which facilitates a high-speed wireless internet connection and supports the sending and receiving of SMS messages. This functionality is complemented by two RS-485 serial interfaces, which allow for the connection of extension modules or gateways, and a 1-Wire interface for integrating digital temperature or humidity sensors.
Housed in a robust aluminum chassis with an IP20 rating, the Unipi Patron M267-LTE is designed for seamless installation on a DIN rail. It is powered by the NXP i.MX 8M Mini quad-core CPU, ensuring efficient processing capabilities. The device is equipped with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of onboard eMMC memory, providing ample space for data storage and processing tasks. The inclusion of an LTE modem with a microSIM card port further enhances its connectivity options.
The controller operates on a Linux-based open software platform, with the Mervis system pre-installed, offering users a reliable and flexible software environment. The Mervis system comes with a free lifetime license, ensuring long-term usability and support. The device's connectivity is further enhanced by its Ethernet port and dual USB 2.0 ports, facilitating integration into various network configurations.
