The device expands connectivity options with additional USB and HDMI ports via flexible flat cables, making it versatile for various applications. It features a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 connector for high-speed networking and an M.2 M key slot that supports NVME solid state drives or communication modules. The board also includes a 40-pin GPIO header, dual MIPI CSI-2 camera ports, and a MIPI DSI display port, enhancing its capability to interface with a wide range of peripherals.
For video output, the mini-computer supports 4K 30fps through its HDMI ports. It also incorporates a real-time clock with a battery socket, enabling functions such as wakeup and shutdown of the Compute Module 4. The inclusion of a TF card slot caters to Compute Module 4 Lite variants, providing additional storage options.
