The Waveshare WAVE ROVER Flexible Expandable 4WD Mobile Robot Chassis, Full Metal Body, ESP32 Module (UK) is a robust and versatile mobile robot platform designed for advanced robotics applications. Its full metal body ensures durability and stability, while the four-wheel drive system provides exceptional off-road capabilities and shock absorption. This chassis is engineered to support a variety of host computers, including Raspberry Pi and Jetson models, facilitating seamless communication with the ESP32 module via a serial port.

The robot is powered by four high-quality N20 geared motors, enabling high-speed movement with substantial power. It features a built-in 3S UPS power supply module that accommodates three 18650 Li batteries, ensuring uninterrupted power supply and simultaneous charging and power output. The integrated multi-functional robot driver board, based on the ESP32, offers onboard WIFI and Bluetooth connectivity, supports serial bus servos, and provides PWM signal output and TF card slot expansion.

The WAVE ROVER is equipped with flexible rubber tires that effectively mitigate the impact of challenging terrains, making it suitable for high-speed driving and off-road conditions. It includes a mounting plate for installing various components such as host computers, lidar, and pan-tilt cameras, thereby expanding its potential for secondary development and customization.
