The Wonder Workshop Robotics Black Grid w/ Lighter Lines provides a simple grid pattern for Wonder Workshop robotics and similar classroom systems. These mats are great for creating obstacle courses. First graders worked in groups to create an algorithm in Blockly to move Dash from one hedgehog to the next without touching any of the cups.
With these mats, it's easy to move obstacles around to create new courses easily. The grid lines help students to calculate distances and practice adding tens. You can also put sticky notes on the squares with the specific actions they are supposed to do in each square.
